Oxygen Compatible (OC®) Thread Sealer and Paste
The OC® Three PTFE Paste Joint and Thread Sealer is an oxygen-safe, aqueous based PTFE formulation. It is a homogenous white paste that penetrates thread convolutions more effectively than PTFE tape. Excellent anti-galling and anti-seize properties. Especially capable of sealing oxygen and acetylene cylinder valves.
Excellent vacuum grease for low and mid vacuum range (up to 10-3 Torr /10-3 mbar range). Fully compatible with cryogenic applications; thermally stable from -240°C to +260°C ( -400°F to +500°F). Very useful thread sealer / vacuum grease for laboratory applications. Supplied in practical 4 oz (113g) squeeze tube. Not suitable for wet conditions; for wet conditions use OC® Five – product #890-5, see below.
